Lacsoft Cream contains ammonium lactate (lactic acid neutralised with ammonium hydroxide) 12 %. Lactic acid belongs to a class of drugs called keratolytic and humectants. 2 moisturises and softens skin by dissolving the tough substance (keratin) thereby helping in the emoval of dead skin cells and helping in the hydration of the skin.
